The USB Type-C connector, often known as USB-C, is quickly replacing older USB connectors as the industry standard for transferring data and power to and from a range of computing devices. It may be inserted in either direction thanks to its symmetrical design, which eliminates many of the drawbacks of earlier USB ports and puts it on level with Apple’s reversible Lightning plug. Just this makes it a success in my book. However, USB-C is still developing and will eventually be able to deliver more power to devices and transport data more quickly. And it’s directly related to a number of important new technologies that have the potential to alter how we view our equipment and how we work in the office, on the go, and at home, such Thunderbolt and USB Power Delivery.
